Carlo Ancelotti, as promised, has recreated the iconic photograph of himself wearing a pair of sunglasses and smoking a cigar, for Real Madrid’s 36th LaLiga title celebrations in the Spanish capital on Sunday morning.

The original image dates back to 2022, when Real Madrid celebrated their success in LaLiga and the Champions League, having beaten Liverpool 1-0 in Paris to secure their record 14th title in Europe’s premier competition.

During a recent press conference, Ancelotti confirmed that he intended to celebrate the 2023-24 title with ‘a cigar and sunglasses’.

He has since come good on his word and recreated the iconic photo alongside players Eduardo Camavinga, Vinicius Jr., Eder Militao, David Alaba and Rodrygo.

Ancelotti has certainly been enjoying himself, and was filmed leading the players and supporters in a special rendition of the club’s anthem ‘Hala Madrid’ earlier in the day.
