Atletico Madrid move to deny agreement with Real Madrid player

Atletico Madrid have moved to deny that they have any agreement in place with Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos. The 27-year-old has been strongly linked with Los Rojiblancos in recent weeks, with his future in the air.

It was reported by Siro Lopez on El Desmarque that Ceballos had signed a pre-contract with Atletico this summer, in case they were able to agree a deal with Los Blancos. That comes after months of speculation over Ceballos’ future, with Milan and Atletico the two most commonly linked clubs. However MD say that sources at Atletico have contacted them to deny any agreement with Ceballos.

🚨🇪🇸 Atlético Madrid DENIES any ‘pre-agreement’ with Dani Ceballos. There is absolutely no interest in the midfielder, and in no case will the club sign him. They want to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season.@mundodeportivo pic.twitter.com/c7uB0BJuCX

It does look as if the former Real Betis playmaker could be on his way out of the club this summer, with his game time diving this season. Carlo Ancelotti has not found space for him often, and a year after signing a three-year extension, it looks as if Ceballos could be seeking a move, albeit outside of Madrid by the looks of things.
