Atletico Madrid’s Memphis Depay responds to ball girl tweet at tennis open – ‘Let a single man shoot his shot’

Atletico Madrid forward Memphis Depay has responded to comments about a tweet he posted regarding a ball girl at the Madrid Tennis Open, which he attended last week.

The Dutch footballer, who is currently injured, was one of a number of celebrities and footballers spotted in the VIP section at La Caja Magica, including Luka Modric, Queen Letizia, Koke Resurreccion, Vinicius Junior and Marcos Llorente.

During his trip, he tweeted put that ‘someone distracted me from the game… to be honest. Someone send me her IGGGG… [Instagram]. Let’s have dinner on the moon.’

Not a great day for Memphis Depay. First, AS reports that Atlético Madrid are looking to part ways with him this summer, and then, he posts and deletes a tweet about a ball girl in the Madrid Open Final.
