And now the latest person to break silence on the proposed deal is Klopp. When asked by reporters (as quoted by Ben Jacobs), how he feels about Slot taking charge, the German said: “It’s the best job and club in the world.
“If he is the one, I like the way his team plays football and all the stuff I hear about him as a guy. He’s a good coach.”
During his time in charge of Feyenoord, Slot, who has two years left on his contract, has averaged an impressive 2.13 points per game.
