12 Romelu Lukaku finally scored his first goal against Juventus from open play at the 12th attempt, giving Roma a rather chaotic lead at the Stadio Olimpico.

The Belgian had faced the Old Lady many times before and did convert penalties, but had until tonight never managed to score from open play.
He would’ve had difficulty missing from six yards, as Federico Gatti cleared the Bryan Cristante effort off the line and straight into his path.
Lukaku had fired in two penalties, both for Inter in Serie A in 2021 and the Coppa Italia in 2023.
