Xavi Hernandez and Vitor Roque’s relationship continues to deteriorate – report

Vitor Roque could leave Barcelona this summer as his relationship with Xavi Hernandez continues feel the strain.

The Brazilian forward enjoyed a superb start at Barcelona, as his arrival in Catalonia was brought forward to the January transfer window.

However, his game time has reduced in recent weeks, with Xavi opting not to use him in Barcelona’s key games.

Xavi has already admitted he is unsure over whether or no to consider a loan departure for next season with a decision expected in June.

His handling of the situation has come in for major scrutiny with Mundo Deportivo correspondent Roger Torello indicating the teenage attacker has been completed isolated by Xavi.

Xavi is confident Vitor Roque has a long term place at Barcelona but a break from the pressure could be the best option for the 2024/25 campaign.
