Speaking to German broadcaster DAZN just prior to kickoff at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei on Sunday, 1. FC Union Berlin President Dirk Zingler denied reports that Berlin's Köpenick club were thinking about parting company with Nenad Bjelica before the end of the season.
Zingler's words did not specifically address reports that Bjelica and the club had mutually decided to go their separate ways after the campaign concludes. It does appear as if the Croatian will remain in charge for the final two league fixtures. Zingler denies reports of Bjelica's early dismissal
